A worthwhile airport trip

Was on the way to airport to receive my sisters who went to Taiwan with my auntie for a week holiday. So cool! Ever since I started work, I have not taken such long leave to go somewhere far, hopefully next year I can take a break to travel to somewhere farther, preferably Japan, Korea or even Taiwan =P

The flight was scheduled to reach Singapore at 11pm, so I had plenty of time to make my way there. Reached the airport at around 9:20pm, I spent some time having my dinner there. I always love to go to the airport, guess it is the wonderful feeling of being able to travel that got into me whenever I step into the airport. Though there were times I went there to send or receive friends, I always have the same good feeling.

The travel bug got into me after I graduated and went for my first long trip, to Japan for graduation tour (not including the Taiwan trip i went during the army days). It was a very enriching and fun trip, free and easy with 6 great companions (plus me that makes it 7, something like the lord of the ring..ha). I remember we spent most of the time walking that I even become thinner when I got back to Singapore, ha those were the days!

Anyway, this trip to the airport was worthwhile as I relive some good memories spending my time in the airport. Besides, after receiving my sisters, I received a great belated birthday gift from Taiwan and this time they bought the right stuff for me. Normally they go overseas to buy something for me, it ended up something not to my favour. But this time round I simply love the gift! Thks to my sisters!
